Whether you use it for water, juice, milk or your famous lemonade...or just soda why not?... the pitchers and jugs that Luminarc and Arcoroc made in the 1960s are just the best!

- Generous proportions and large capacity (1.3L or 45 oz US), perfect for a little party, afternoon tea or as your best friend while baking or cooking... You'll use it all the time to move fluids around your kitchen!
- Dishwasher and microwave safe so you never have to worry about how it's treated!
- It can withstand temperature differences of 130 degrees Celsius!! That gives you some good leeway to go from cold to hot without risks of breaking your pitcher.
- And enjoy the durability of this toughened glass which has already withstood decades easily and isn't showing signs of fatigue! You can be confident knowing that you are buying a quality, durable object. So you're also doing this little bit for the planet :-)
- Glass is also great as a container as it doesn't keep odours either, so you can change from one liquid to another without worrying about a smell mixing from the last fluid. So versatile!
- Chip-resistant, tempered glass that kids or dogs roaming around will have a much harder
time breaking than non tempered glass.
- Super strong glass handle that is moulded with the body of the jug so it cannot come loose. - It is also a big handle that sticks out from the main frame plenty so that it is super easy to
grasp and less likely to fall off hands.
- The maxi large and elevated beak makes it really easy to pour. I don't know about you but I love the idea of being able to pour and not make a mess!!
- The design of the pitcher is a success in terms of weight distribution and base shape and dimension which makes it very stable.

You might already have some glasses, coffee cups, plates, bowls of that series... or you're just starting your Fleur collection! Either way, I think your have great taste!

And yes, we do carry matching bowls and plates, and even coffee cups and serving dishes of the Fleur collection.

Made in France by Luminarc in the mid century. It has the original golden Luminarc label on.
Luminarc's parent company ARC International (which also owns Arcoroc and Arcopal amongst others)is a largely recognised leader of the industry and has been making glass since the early 1800's! So they know a thing or two about quality glass...

INFOS ABOUT BUYING FROM THEMILKGLASSPALACE:
ITEMS DESCRIPTION
PHOTOS/VIDEOS largely contribute to the description obviously and the DESCRIPTIVE TEXT is here to complement the images. Use them to make an informed decision to purchase or not. Exact colours can be difficult to represent through screen. I always do my best to display colours as close as possible to reality but I cannot guarantee the colour accuracy.
The DIMENSIONS I note/display are approximate. If you do require very precise dimensions or have any questions not answered by the images or words, please feel free to contact me and I would be more than happy to assist you.
DATING items can be tricky and for that reason, unless I have information from a reliable source, I will note the item as being before 2005 (The loosest option Etsy gives me). The items I present to you are Vintage, Old, Original, Nostalgic, Antique, Preloved, Peculiar… second hand, used, dated, classics, handmade, timeless… you get the idea (I call all of that VOONAP…but that’s just me ;-) )
CONDITION
I aim to pick items that are in AS GOOD A CONDITION AS POSSIBLE OR REASONABLE FOR THEIR AGE and will give a subjective adjective for it in each listing. Some items are in lesser condition. I usually picked them for their particularly unusual or rarer nature.
I do scrutinise and describe my items as best I can, however, of course, when PURCHASING AN OLDER ITEM, you should EXPECT TO POTENTIALLY FIND SOME IMPERFECTIONS that I have not noted, such as superficial scratches, very small chips, irregularity in the pattern or design, colour fading... (Etsy does say that items sold on Etsy must be from “real people” and well, I am a real person and you know the old adage… “Nobody’s perfect”!).
PURCHASES
Thank you on advance for buying on my shop. It means a lot that you liked some of my items! I work on processing as soon as the order arrives to me and as long as it’s not the middle of the night in Australia ;-). Although I hope you won’t need to, orders can be cancelled up until I have generated the printing label.
PACKAGING/SHIPPING
Your items arriving to you in the same condition they left me is a priority. I take GREAT CARE IN MY PACKAGING strategy and use conscientious packaging materials as much as possible (Newspaper, boxes from my local shops, even donated linen). Unfortunately, I cannot accompany your items all the way to your door and so, I cannot account for the way your package will be treated by others along the way. Please recognise this if your package arrives in poorer condition that hoped. Although I would be very surprised if that happened, please contact me within 24 hours if the items themselves are damaged on arrival.
